The Jonas Brothers, fresh from the excitement of Camp Rock and still thriving in their success, had continued their acting career with Disney Channel in 2009 to star in JONAS. The series capitalized on the Jonas Brothers’ fame and Disney Channel’s use of musicals or performing leading character shows, such as Hannah Montana, to craft a series that surrounded Kevin, Joe, and Nick as a successful band. Ultimately, the series ended after two seasons with one of the lowest ratings on the network. But, what went wrong? Why didn’t the series succeed, even though it was using ingredients that other shows had become so well known for?
